Description
When entering Front Street from Middletown Ave, the right hand sidewalks are totally overgrown. Photo shows North side of bridge, but it looks similar on South side. It looks blighted, which encourages dumping there. And there is a LOT of poison ivy mixed in with these plants, which can harm people wearing shorts or sandals. Also makes it difficult for residents like me to pick up trash that gets dumped in between the poison ivy. City should please trim plants from fence and sidewalk. Thank you.

Thank you for the post. We are closing this issue as the area outlined is on a state road or highway and is managed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation who do not monitor this site. Please contact the CTDOT using the form linked here;

If this occurs again please contact the state for a clean up. I will pass this information along as it is spring and if it was not cut in fall I am guessing this is still an issue.
