Description

I have emailed the Mayor's office the following:

Arrogant workers refused to ventilate the stairwell at 232 Ellsworth Ave on June 26, both for toxic dust from sanding old varnish and later toxic fumes from the new varnish. I think they may varnish today.
If not, there are old and infirm people and young children in these buildings, and this sort of thing should not happen.

When previously a worker filled the building with solvent fumes, I called LCI. They came over, but they suggested for quick action I call the Fire Dept.
The Fire Department has already had to roll out for false alarms, although there are now new detectors in the stairwells. Still, tenants do not know if there is a real fire

also asked...
Q. Is the problem blight (trash, etc) outside, or is it a problem with the building (illegal use, housing code violation, etc)?
A. Building Problem
